Born on the 2nd January 1999, Dennis Adeniran is a 25-year-old English-born midfielder making a name for himself at St Mirren. Mainly operating as a central defensive midfielder, Adeniran stands at 5ft 10in (approx 1.8m) tall and tips the scales at 11st 11lb (roughly 75kg). Adeniran is currently donning the number 23 jersey for his Premiership outfit.
Adeniran's football journey commenced as a trainee at Fulham, joining the Premier League side in July 2012. During his debut season (2016-2017) at Fulham, his presence graced the pitch in a single first team league match. Seeking pastures new, Adeniran moved on to Everton, another Premier League club, in August 2017. The financials for this move were kept under wraps.
A loan move to Wycombe Wanderers, a League One outfit, transpired in September 2020. He completed 21 appearances in first team league matches during his 2020 - 2021 stint with Wycombe Wanderers. With his loan spell wrapped up, July 2021 saw Adeniran traipse back to the Premier League and then sign his rights over to Championship team, Sheffield Wednesday. The transfer fee? Again, undisclosed. He played 11 first team league matches for Sheffield Wednesday in 2022 - 2023.
Seeking warmer climates perhaps, and certainly new footballing experiences, Adeniran moved abroad in August 2023. He departed Sheffield Wednesday for Portimonense, a club competing in Portugal's Liga 2. However, his time in Portugal was short-lived, with only a single first team appearance in the 2023 - 2024 season to his name. January 2024 heralded another move for Adeniran, this time to Israel and Hapoel Petah Tikva, a Liga Leumit side.
The globetrotting continued in July 2024 with a move northwards to Scotland, signing for St Mirren in the Premiership. Adeniran was off to a measured start with St Mirren; he's chalked up four first team appearances in league matches in his inaugural season (2024 - 2025). The young midfielder presented his skills on the grand stage, participating in Conference League Qualifiers 2024 - 2025 for St Mirren, showcasing his capabilities with two starts and two substitute appearances.
