Yesterday’s Hoople was John Colquhoun. John Colquhoun was born in Stirling on 14 July 1963. A winger and striker, Colquhoun joined Celtic from Stirling Albion in November 1983 and went on to score four goals in 37 appearances in the Hoops before a move to Hearts in May 1985. “I was in awe when I went to Celtic, I felt like a little boy.
