Guidetti is a robust player, standing at a commanding 6ft (1.85m) and weighing in at a sturdy 12st 6lb (79kg). In an interesting turn of events, Guidetti made the permanent move from Celta Vigo to Alaves in July 2018, for a reported figure of around ÂŁ3.6m. His permanent tenure at Alaves saw varying degrees of involvement on the pitch.
Guidetti's next notable loan was to Hannover 96 in the German 2. Bundesliga in January 2020. The second-tier German league witnessed the Swede score three goals from 14 appearances during the 2019 - 2020 season.
In July of that year, when his loan period ended, Guidetti returned to his Spanish team, Alaves. Once again his playing time varied across the seasons, with the 2020 - 2021 and 2021 - 2022 seasons seeing him score just one goal each.
