Liam Scales, born on the 8th of August, 1998 (age 27), hails from the Republic of Ireland. He's a professional footballer and a stalwart defender who primarily plays as a central defender for Celtic. At a considerable height of 6 feet 2 inches (1.88m) tall and weighing around 13 stone 5lb (85kg), his physical presence on the pitch is significant. He proudly displays the number 5 on his jersey. Aside from his club career, Scales has had the honour of representing his homeland, the Republic of Ireland, at an international level.

Scales unexpected journey started in January 2017 when he joined UCD in the First Division in Ireland for an undisclosed fee. In his initial season at UCD, 2019, Scales made 30 appearances for the first team, and scored one goal during league matches. By January 2020, Scales was ready for a new challenge and transferred to Shamrock Rovers in the Premier Division in Ireland. He went on to make 16 appearances in the 2020 season and 23 appearances in the 2021 season, scoring two goals.
