Marco Tilio, born on 23rd August 2001, is an Australian-born forward chiefly playing as a right winger for Rapid Vienna. Standing at 5ft 6in (1.7m) and weighing 10st 7lb (67kg), Tilio dons the number 7 jersey and has also had the honour of representing the Australia national team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value dwells around the £850,000 mark.
In July 2018, Tilio embarked on his professional journey with Sydney FC in the A-League, where he had a modest debut season in 2019 - 2020 making three first team appearances and netting one goal. In September 2020, he transferred to Melbourne City also in the A-League.
During his tenure at Melbourne City from 2020 to 2023, Tilio showed significant growth in his capability. He made 92 first team appearances and scored twenty goals in league matches over several seasons. After a promising stint in Melbourne, Tilio came into the attention of Celtic in the Premiership in Scotland and was signed for a transfer fee of approximately £1.1m in July 2023.
Unfortunately, Tilio's stint with Celtic didn't offer much opportunity for impact as he was given pitch time on only two occasions in league matches for the 2023 - 2024 season.
Amidst the struggle for playing time at Celtic, Tilio was loaned back to Melbourne City in February 2024 where he had previously found form. Here again, Tilio's goal scoring prowess was evident as he notched up nineteen goals over several seasons.
Eventually, in August 2025, Tilio ended his brief stay at Celtic and was transferred to Rapid Vienna in the Bundesliga in Austria for a fee of roughly £1.3m. Currently in the 2025 - 2026 season at Rapid Vienna, Tilio has made ten appearances already and had one successful encounter with the net. He also exhibited his skill in the Conference League 2025 - 2026 for Rapid Vienna with a substitute appearance.
