Édouard’s footballing journey commenced with Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue 1 as a trainee in July 2011. His first taste of fresh pastures came in August 2016 when he transferred on loan to Toulouse, also in the Ligue 1. Though his debut season of 2016/2017 with Toulouse saw him make 16 first team appearances, his name was only once recorded among the season's goal scorers.
In August 2017 began Édouard’s fruitful chapter with Celtic Football Club, where he initially arrived on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
