Patryk Klimala born on August 5, 1998, hails from Poland. His trade is primarily a forward, stationed as a striker for Slask Wroclaw. The lad stands at a height of 1.83m with a weight of 76kg.
In July 2016, Klimala started his professional career at Jagiellonia Białystok in Poland's Ekstraklasa. A year later, he was loaned to Wigry Suwalki in the III Liga. When the tenure ended, he returned back to Jagiellonia Białystok in 2018.
After two and half years in his home country, Klimala eyed the Scottish Premiership. He signed for Celtic in January 2020 in a deal worth around £3.5m. However, the Premiership challenge was rather too strong for him, as he could only score three goals in 19 appearances for the Celts.
In April 2021, he chose to explore American football, signing for the New York Red Bulls in the MLS. His stay in the United States was short-lived as he moved to Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the Israeli Premier League in January 2023.
A year with Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and Klimala was on the move again. In January 2024, the journeyman striker returned to Poland, joining Śląsk Wrocław in the Ekstraklasa.
During his debut season with Wigry Suwalki, Klimala made 27 appearances and managed to score 13 goals. His statistics at Jagiellonia were slightly less impressive, with eight goals across 39 appearances in two seasons. The following stint at Celtic saw him score only thrice in 19 appearances.
His journey to the American MLS saw a slight improvement as the goal tally hit eight in 29 appearances for New York Red Bulls. Despite multiple transfers, Klimala found the net regularly, though not prolifically. In Hapoel Be'er Sheva, he scored four goals across 19 appearances and has already begun his tenure with Śląsk Wrocław.
As of season 2024 - 2025, Klimala is set to continue with Śląsk Wrocław in the Polish Ekstraklasa. Celtic fans will have a keen eye on their former frontman.
