Born on 14 September 1995, Stuart Findlay is a Scottish defender who currently manifolds the central defender position for Hearts. Standing tall at 6ft 3in (1.91m) and weighing in at 12st 12lb (82kg), Findlay is a prominent figure on the pitch, wearing the number 19 jersey.
Findlay started his professional journey at Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. However, he spent a notable part of his time at Celtic away on loan - with Greenock Morton in Scotland's Championship in the 2013 - 2014 season. He wore the Morton colours 14 times in league matches in his debut season. The following season 2014 - 2015, Findlay was on loan again, this time at Dumbarton in League Two, where he made 15 appearances.
In July 2015, Findlay packed his kit bag for another loan spell, this time at Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership, where he made 22 first team appearances in league matches. Following his loan spell, Findlay waved goodbye to Celtic and made a notable move to the Premier League's Newcastle United in July 2016; however, in August 2017 he found himself back in Scotland with Kilmarnock, once again on loan.
Findlay left a significant mark on Kilmarnock, making numerous appearances throughout multiple seasons and scoring several goals. However, in February 2021 he crossed the Atlantic for a brief stint at the Philadelphia Union in the MLS, making a handful of appearances in two seasons, before making his way back to England with Oxford United in the Championship in July 2022. His performances at Oxford earned him another loan spell back at his favoured Kilmarnock where he once again impressed with his committed performances.
After completing his loan at Kilmarnock, Findlay returned to Oxford for the 2025 - 2026 season, but before long found himself back in Scotland, this time at Hearts in the Premiership, where he has been playing on loan and has so far made 14 appearances, scoring three goals in the season to date.
