Armstrong Oko-Flex was born in Dublin on 2 March 2002 (age 24) and came into Celtic’s system in September 2018, arriving from Arsenal. A left-sided attacker, he had an early Celtic connection before his senior career properly took shape elsewhere.
He left Celtic in July 2021 for West Ham United, a move that took him into another big academy-and-fringe environment rather than straight into settled first-team football. His career after that became more varied, with spells at West Ham, Botev Plovdiv and Levski Sofia as he looked for regular senior minutes.
Bulgaria has given him a clearer platform. His 2025-26 league season at Botev Plovdiv brought six goals in 14 appearances, and at Levski Sofia he has remained a regular first-team presence. Across all competitions for Levski, he has made 28 appearances and scored eight goals, including 27 league games.
Oko-Flex’s career so far has moved from early promise at Arsenal and Celtic into a more established senior role abroad. He is primarily a left winger, and his recent output suggests a player now getting the kind of regular football that was harder to find earlier on.
