Bosnian midfielder, Alen Mustafic, was born on the 5th of July, 1999, making him now into his mid-twenties. Currently plying his trade at Slovan Bratislava, Mustafic primarily operates from the epicentre of the pitch, bringing his presence in the form of a 6ft tall (1.85m) figure tipping the scales at 12st 3lb (78kg). According to Transfermarkt, Mustafic's estimated market value circles around the £250k mark. The Bosnian's contract with Slovan Bratislava will see him at the club till 30th June 2027, a good 2 years and 8 months hence from the current date.
Mustafic's journey to the First Football League in Slovakia is an interesting one. Back in July 2020, he was transferred from Sarajevo in the Premijer Liga of his home country Bosnia to Slovan Bratislava. The fee for this particular transfer remains undisclosed. In the ongoing 2024/2025 season, Mustafic has already made eight first team league appearances for Slovan Bratislava.
Come January 2023, Mustafic made his next move, this time to Denmark, joining Odense BK in the 1. division. Again, the exact figures for the transfer fee haven't been revealed. The 2022/2023 season at Odense saw him make six first-team appearances, also notching up a single goal. The subsequent season, 2023/2024, saw a decrease in appearances, with Mustafic getting just four games.
Interestingly, in January 2024, Mustafic found himself in Poland, loaned to Slask Wroclaw in the Ekstraklasa. In his season-long stint in Poland, Mustafic managed to add six more first team league appearances to his tally.
A return to Slovan Bratislava was on the cards for Mustafic in July 2024 from Odense BK. Again, the figures for the transfer continue to remain undisclosed. The current season has seen him, so far, make eight first-team appearances on the field for Slovan Bratislava.
Besides domestic games, Mustafic also had his taste of international club competition, being part of the Champions League Qualifiers 2024 - 2025 for Slovan Bratislava where he managed a single appearance as a substitute, and also made an identical contribution in the Champions League 2024 - 2025 for the same club.
