Alex Gogic, born on 13 April 1994 (age 32), is a Cypriot central defender whose senior career has been heavily shaped by his spell at St Mirren.
The bulk of his football has come in Paisley. Across six seasons with St Mirren, Gogic has made 154 league appearances and scored eight league goals, a substantial run for a player whose game is built more on durability and defensive work than decoration.
His most productive league season came in 2022–23, when he scored twice in 30 league appearances. By 2026–27, he remained involved for St Mirren, with four league appearances, five in the League Cup, four in the Scottish Cup and two in the Premiership play-offs, taking him to 15 appearances across all competitions for the season.
Gogic’s career is not one that needs much embroidery. He has become a long-serving St Mirren defender, with his main body of work sitting clearly there: steady league service, regular cup involvement, and a role that has lasted well beyond the usual short Scottish football stopover.
