Born in Spain on 25 April 2004, Alex Valle, a defender by trade, is currently a left back for Barcelona. At a solid 5ft 10in (1.8m) and weighing in at 12st 8lb (80kg), he dons the number 12 jersey for the Catalan club.
Valle's market value is roughly around an estimated £2m, as per Transfermarkt. With his contract due to expire on 30 June 2025, he has a mere 11 months left on his current agreement with Barcelona.
Back in the heated summer of 2018, Valle joined Barcelona as a trainee. Since then, he has had a rocky journey to the first team, with the current 2024-2025 season thus far offering him no opportunities to display his skillset in league fixtures.
Come January 2023, Valle found himself loaned out to FC Andorra in the Spanish Second Division B/1. Despite the abrupt change of scenery, he managed to pull on the jersey for seven league matches during his debut season at the club.
Upon completion of his loan in June 2023, Valle returned to his parent club, only to be quickly sent out again. In August 2023, he joined Levante UD in the Segunda División. Despite the uncertainty, Valle managed an impressive 29 league appearances for Levante in the 2023-2024 season, before returning to Barcelona.
Having spent time at FC Andorra and Levante UD, Valle has a variety of experiences under his belt. However, the 2024-2025 season at Barcelona has been another stern test of patience, as the Spaniard is yet to make a first team appearance in league matches.
