Alexander Jensen, a professional footballer of Danish origin, was born on 24 August 2001, making him 24 years old. Jensen is a defender by trade, who currently offers his services primarily as a right back for the Scottish football club Aberdeen. At 1.8m (5ft 10in) in height and weighing around 70kg (11st), Jensen brings an impressive physical presence to the field. His current kit includes the number 28 jersey.
As per recent market valuations which can be found on Transfermarkt, Jensen's current market value is estimated at approximately £1.1m.
In the transfer history of Jensen's career, his first significant move took place in September 2020 when he joined FC Fredericia playing in Denmark's Superliga. This was followed by another pivotal transfer in January 2023, as he moved from FC Fredericia to IF Brommapojkarna in the Allsvenskan, Sweden's premier football league. The transfer amount for this switch remains undisclosed to this day.
During his stint at IF Brommapojkarna in seasons 2023 and 2024, Jensen was fairly productive, making 30 first team appearances in both seasons and netting two and three goals respectively. His efforts did not go unnoticed and, subsequently, in January 2025, Jensen transferred from Sweden to Scotland, joining Aberdeen in the Premiership for a fee of roughly £550k.
During his initial 2024-2025 season at Aberdeen, Jensen made 15 first team appearances in league matches. He continued this pattern into the current 2025-2026 season. Additionally, his tenure at Aberdeen has seen him take part in a number of prestigious tournaments such as the League Cup 2025-2026, the Europa League Qualifiers 2025-2026, and the Conference League 2025-2026, with two and four starts respectively.
Despite not featuring the kind of longevity at Celtic that would draw lengthy reminiscences of his time in the green hoops, there is no doubt that Jensen's journey so far has been dotted with note-worthy achievements and it will be interesting to see how his journey unfolds from here.
