Alfie Dorrington, born on 20 April 2005 (age 21), is an English central defender on Tottenham Hotspur’s books. A commanding 6ft 4in (1.92m), he remains a young player in senior terms, with a current market value of around £595,000 according to Transfermarkt.
His senior career has so far been shaped most clearly by Aberdeen. Across two seasons at Pittodrie, he made 18 league appearances and scored once, with his most productive spell coming in 2024-25, when he played 12 league games and got his first league goal. That is still a modest body of work, but it is the one part of his career with real substance to it.
Back at Tottenham, Dorrington has worn squad number 48 and has yet to make a league appearance in 2025-26. His first-team involvement has been limited to one FA Cup appearance, leaving him still at the stage where promise is doing more work than proof.
Dorrington’s career remains in its early stages: a Tottenham-developed centre-half, tested properly at Aberdeen, and still waiting for regular senior football in England.
