Alyaksandr Martynovich, born on 26 August 1987 (age 39), is a Belarusian central defender with a commanding 6ft 4in (1.93m) frame and a career built on durability more than decoration.
His early loan spells helped harden him into a senior defender, but the substance of his career came at Krasnodar. Across 10 seasons there, he made 197 league appearances and scored five league goals, becoming a long-serving presence rather than a passing squad name.
There was a later productive spell at Rubin Kazan, where the 2023-2024 league season brought three goals in 20 appearances – his best scoring return in league football.
