Ben McPherson, a strapping lad hailing from Scotland, celebrates his hatchday on the 19th of March, 2004. Now 21 years of age, his primary role on the pitch is as a defender, favouring the right back position. He currently dons the number 24 jersey for Partick Thistle. He's a sizeable chap, standing at 5ft 11in (1.81m) and weighing in at 11st 6lb (73kg).
Let's rewind to July 2019. Our young Ben McPherson made a big leap from smaller pond to a much bigger one - joining Celtic in the Premiership in Scotland. It was here his potential started to get noticed.
August 2023 found McPherson transferring on loan from Celtic to Queen's Park in the Championship in Scotland. He made quite a splash in his debut season, 2023 - 2024, at Queen's Park, making 24 first-team appearances in league matches.
In June 2024, McPherson packed his football boots and marched right back to Celtic from Queen's Park upon completion of his loan. He had tasted the competition and was ready to return to the big leagues.
Fast forward to 2025, and we find McPherson on the move again, this time heading out on loan from Celtic to Partick Thistle in the Championship. He was not about to rust away, making 20 first team appearances in league matches. In keeping with his fiery streak, he made his mark in the League Cup 2025 - 2026 for Partick Thistle with one start, and the Scottish Cup 2025 - 2026 for Partick Thistle with one start.
