Ben McPherson, born on 19 March 2004 and now aged 22, hails from Scotland and is currently making a name for himself as a defender who primarily plays at right back for Partick Thistle. A substantial figure on the pitch, he stands at 5ft 11in (1.81m) tall and carries a weight of 11st 6lb (73kg). You'll find him sporting the number 24 jersey.
In the transfer summer of 2019, McPherson's burgeoning talent was recognised as he joined Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. He then went on loan to Queen's Park in the Championship for the 2023 - 2024 season. It was during this stint that McPherson got a taste of life in the big leagues, making 24 first team appearances in league matches.
He then found himself back on familiar territory returning home to Celtic in the Premiership at the end of his loan during June 2024.
Yet another loan transfer was in store for McPherson in August 2025, this time moving to Partick Thistle in the Championship. Proving himself a solid asset, McPherson has already marked his current 2025 - 2026 season, tallying up 29 first team appearances and managing to score two goals in the league so far.
He's also left his mark on the cup tournaments this season, beginning with the League Cup 2025 - 2026, where he made one start for Partick Thistle, and the Scottish Cup 2025 - 2026, with three commendable starts to his name.
