Bruce Anderson, born on the 23rd of September 1998 in Scotland, is a forward predominantly deployed as a striker for Kilmarnock. Standing at 5ft 10in (1.78m) in height and weighing 12st 1lb (77kg), Anderson dons the number 19 jersey for his team.
Anderson embarked on his professional football journey in July 2015, when he joined the Premiership heavyweights Aberdeen as a trainee. During his initial stint with Aberdeen, which spread across three seasons (2018 - 2021), Anderson made a total of 31 first team appearances and found the back of the net three times in league matches.
Throughout his career, Anderson has been involved in a series of loans to different clubs in Scotland. In August 2017, he moved from Aberdeen to Elgin City in League Two on loan and made quite an impression, scoring six goals in 14 appearances. In January 2018, he returned to his parent club, Aberdeen, continuing to contribute to their league campaigns until January 2019, when he embarked on another loan spell, this time with Dunfermline Athletic in the Championship.
On completing his loan at Dunfermline, Anderson returned to Aberdeen once again, contributing to their league efforts until October 2020. He then transferred to Ayr United in the Championship on loan before finding his way back to Aberdeen in January 2021. Later that same month, Anderson was loaned out to Hamilton Academical in League One, in what would be one of his more productive loan spells. He played 13 matches in the 2020 - 2021 season and completed two goals during this time.
Post his short yet eventful stint at Hamilton, Anderson caught the interest of Livingston in the Premiership, where he relocated from Aberdeen in July 2021. During his three seasons with Livingston (2021 - 2024), Anderson clocked up 92 appearances and registered 24 goals. His form with Livingston sealed a transfer move to Kilmarnock in the Premiership in July 2024.
At Kilmarnock, Anderson has been nothing short of impressive. By the ongoing season (2025 - 2026), he has scored a total of 15 league goals in 57 appearances. Additionally, his involvement in the 2025 - 2026 League Cup and Scottish Cup for Kilmarnock, scoring a goal across six appearances, has been highly instrumental for the team.
As we glean from these tangible data, Anderson's trajectory has been upward, marked by continued growth and escalating outputs at every club he had the honour to put on the jersey for. His story documents the journey of a talented prospect maturing into an accomplished striker, one who would invariably leave an indelible impression in the annals of Scottish football.
