Calum Waters, born in Glasgow on 10 March 1996 (age 30), is a Scottish left-back whose early route ran through Celtic before his senior career took shape elsewhere.
He came through at Celtic as a trainee, but his first settled senior football came after he left for Alloa Athletic in July 2016. That move gave him the regular matches he needed. In 2016–17 he made 36 league appearances for Alloa and scored once, still his most productive league season in terms of appearances.
Waters later had spells with Alloa Athletic and Kilmarnock before becoming more firmly established at Greenock Morton. It was a practical career path rather than a glamorous one, built around regular work at left-back and the usual Scottish lower-league hard miles.
He is back with Alloa Athletic, where in 2025–26 he has made 17 appearances in all competitions and scored three goals, including 13 League One appearances and four Championship play-off appearances. His career began at Celtic, but it has been shaped mainly by steady senior football at clubs where minutes mattered more than profile.
