Born on the last day of 1997, Cameron Carter-Vickers hails from England and currently plies his trade at Celtic as a robust central defender. The defender, who stands tall at 6 feet (1.84 metres) and weighs a solid 14 stone 6 pounds (around 92 kilos), dons the number 20 shirt for the Scottish outfit. Carter-Vickers also has ties with the United States, turning out for their national team on several occasions.

.The player's journey started in July 2009, when he joined Tottenham Hotspur as a trainee. He spent a good deal of time on loan in subsequent years, going from Spurs to Sheffield United in August 2017 until January 2018, where he made 17 appearances and even netted once. His next destination was Ipswich Town for the remainder of the season, where he played a similar number of games.
The following season, in August 2018, Carter-Vickers found himself on loan at Swansea City, making an impressive 30 appearances in his single season. His stint with Stoke City during the 2019 season was shorter, ending in January 2020 after 12 league appearances. Shortly after, he joined Luton Town on loan, turning out 16 times.
The 2020-2021 season saw Carter-Vickers at Bournemouth, where he clocked 21 appearances and scored a single goal. The turning point in his career came in August 2021, when he signed on loan for Celtic, commencing an association that would extend beyond a mere loan period.
After a strong season where he made 33 appearances and scored four goals, Celtic secured his services on a permanent basis from Spurs for around £6m in July 2022. Since his permanent move, Carter-Vickers has seen consistent game time, appearing 29 times in the 2022-2023 season, 25 in 2023-2024 where he also scored, 30 in 2024-2025, netting once again, and proving his worth in the current season with seven appearances already.
Over and above his league commitments, Carter-Vickers has also performed on bigger stages, participating in the League Cup 2025-2026 with a start, starting twice in the Champions League qualifiers, and making three starts in the Europa League for Celtic within the same season.
