Cameron Carter-Vickers, born on 31st December 1997 in England, is a capable defender who predominantly serves as a central defender for Celtic. Renowned for his physique, standing at 6 feet tall (1.84m) and weighing around 14st 6lb (92kg), he marks his presence on the football pitch. He is also known by his jersey number 20 and has had the honour of representing the United States on the international stage.

In his early career, Carter-Vickers began as a trainee at Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League in July 2009 - a commendable achievement for a young lad.
His journey included a number of loan stints, with his first transfer in August 2017 to Sheffield United. He continued to be a mainstay in the Celtic defence line in the 2022-2023 season, with 29 appearances, and repeated the feat with 25 showings in 2023-2024 season where he also netted a goal.
His exceptional performance carried over into the 2024-2025 season as he played another 30 matches and added another goal to his tally. He has already participated in seven league contests in the current 2025-2026 season.
Beyond his league duties, Carter-Vickers has also done well in Cup campaigns for Celtic. In the 2025-2026 season, he’s started in the League Cup, in two Champions League qualifiers and in three Europa League fixtures, highlighting his importance in Celtic’s overall blueprint.
