Cole Campbell (age 20) is an American wide player who has come through in Germany rather than at home, building his early senior work in Borussia Dortmund’s second side. Primarily a right winger, he is a compact 5ft 7in (1.70m) player, and his most productive league spell so far came in 2024–25, when he scored twice in 11 appearances for Borussia Dortmund II.
He has since moved on to Elversberg, where his involvement has started to pick up. In 2026–27 he has made three league appearances and scored once, and he has also featured three times in the Bundesliga with another goal. His market value is put at around £4.5 million by Transfermarkt.
He was linked with a move to Celtic in June 2026. At this stage he looks like a young winger still putting the shape of his senior career together, with useful early experience in Germany and signs of progress at Elversberg.
