Craig Hepburn, a promising goalkeeper born on 20th November 2004 in Scotland, currently plays for St Johnstone FC. At just 19 years of age, Hepburn capably represents the side, sporting the number 31 jersey with gratifying consistency. Dedicated to the cause, his existing contract with the Premiership side extends until 31st May 2027, a tidy two years and eight months away.
Hepburn earned his stripes early on, joining the St Johnstone youth system as a trainee back in July 2019. The Scottish Premiership then became lads' playground and the stepping stone towards his professional advancement. To bolster his development, St Johnstone opted to send Hepburn out on loan, a decision made in July 2023 which saw him venture to Cowdenbeath in the Lowland League.
His sojourn in the Lowland league was fleeting but beneficial, providing the valuable lesson that all aspects of the beautiful game are composed of myriad challenges, not all of them played on the same level. His loan spell ended in June 2024, upon which he returned to his home club, St Johnstone, in the Premiership, deriving inimitable experience from his lower-tier foray.
