Envision Damir Redzic, a promising forward and Hungary native originally born on the 23rd of March, 2003. Standing at a sturdy 5ft 10in (1.79m) and weighing 10st 7lb (67kg), Redzic has ascended through the tiers of football to become a valued player for Red Bull Salzburg. His presence on the pitch is confirmed with the number 24 that graces his jersey. The prospect has also brought his skills to his home nation, representing Hungary on the international stage.
Today, Redzic is deemed to hold a market value hovering around £1.3m, as noted by Transfermarkt. A four-fold progression from his early days when he began as a trainee at Ferencvaros in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I in Hungary back in August 2017.
Honing his abilities with camoes for Ferencvaros, Redzic made brief appearances in the two seasons 2020 - 2021 and 2021 - 2022 respectively. A wind of change blew in August 2021 as he was loaned to Soroksár in the Nemzeti Bajnokság II on a temporary basis. Here, he truly made his mark. Over two seasons (2021 - 2023), he racked up 37 first team appearances, netting 10 goals. After cementing his talent at Soroksár, Redzic returned to Ferencvaros to build on his growth.
In a twist of fate, September 2023 saw Redzic temporarily waving goodbye to Hungary again and transferring to DAC Dunajská Streda in Slovakia's First Football League. In the following seasons and during the ongoing 2025 - 2026 season, he has established himself as a valuable team player, with a tally of 43 appearances and 14 goals.
His skills did not go unnoticed and Ferencvaros agreed to a permanent transfer to DAC Dunajská Streda in July 2024, settling on a deal approximated at £1.3m. However, just under two years later, Redzic would be on the move again, this time with a price tag tripled to £4.1m. His destination was Austria, to join the ranks of Red Bull Salzburg in the Bundesliga in February 2026.
Although Redzic is yet to make his league debut for Salzburg in the current season, there is no denying the journey that has brought him here. Alongside his club career, he has also stepped onto the world stage, making one appearance as a substitute in the 2024 - 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Europe for Hungary.
