Daniel Oyegoke, born on the 3rd of January, 2003, is an English footballer who plies his trade primarily as a defender, preferably at the right-back position. Currently at Hearts, Oyegoke stands firm at a height of 5ft 10in (1.78m) and weighs a solid 10st 7lb (67kg). He takes the field with the number 5 emblazoned on his jersey.
His value in the concurrent market estimates to around €300k, which equals a tad over £250k, as stated by Transfermarkt. His tenure with Hearts has a period of 2 years and 8 months remaining, the contract ultimately set to expire on the 30th of June, 2027.
Oyegoke's journey through football started in July 2018 at Arsenal in the Premier League where he joined as a trainee. In July 2021, he transferred to Brentford, again in the Premier League, with the transfer fee remaining undisclosed. His first stint away from his home club would occur in July 2022 when he transferred to MK Dons in England's League Two on a loan deal. His debut season (2022-23)...marked 13 appearances for the MK Dons.
Returning to Brentford following the completion of his loan in January 2023, Oyegoke wouldn't stay put for long. In July 2023, he was off on another loan spell, this time to Bradford City, again in League Two. His loan stints evidently served him well, securing him a transfer to Hearts in Scotland's Premiership in July 2024. The current 2024-2025 season at Hearts saw Oyegoke hit the pitch for 12 first-team appearances, tracking one goal to his name in league matches.
His feats don't end domestically. Oyegoke represented Hearts in the 2024-2025 Europa League Qualifiers, making an appearance, followed by two appearances in the 2024-2025 Conference League, both as a substitute.
