Devyne Rensch, born on 18 January 2003 (age 23), is a Dutch right-back now with Roma, where he wears the number 2 shirt. His current market value is around £8.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
The bulk of Rensch’s senior career has been built at Ajax. Across five seasons there, he made 105 league appearances and scored 10 league goals, a substantial body of work for a player still in the early part of his career. His most productive league campaign came in 2020-21, when he scored three times in 18 appearances.
That Ajax spell gives the clearest shape to his profile: a right-back developed in a club where technical comfort is not optional, with enough senior exposure to move beyond the usual “promising” label. He is not a minor graduate padded out by reputation; the appearances were real and sustained.
At Roma in 2026-27, his season has been limited so far, with one Serie A appearance and one Champions League outing included in six appearances across all competitions. His career to this point is still chiefly an Ajax story, with Roma the next test rather than the main chapter yet.
