Aside from his regular league duties, Thompson has also featured in the League Cup (2025-2026) for Kilmarnock where he started once and made another appearance as a substitute. Moreover, his contribution to the Scottish Cup run in 2025-2026 was notable, netting a goal in his single start for Kilmarnock.
