Emam Ashour, born on 20 February 1998 (age 28), is an Egyptian central midfielder with Al Ahly. His current market value is around £3.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
The club spell that gives his career its clearest shape is FC Midtjylland. In 2022-23 he made five league appearances for the Danish side and scored once, a short but still central European chapter in an otherwise Egypt-rooted career.
Ashour is now back in the Al Ahly picture and remains involved in the first team in 2026-27. He has made 14 appearances across all competitions for the club this season, including league, continental and play-off football.
He has also stayed relevant internationally, featuring for Egypt in World Cup and African qualifying fixtures this season. He was linked with a move to Celtic in July 2026, a light transfer rumour rather than anything more concrete.
Ashour’s career is that of an established Egyptian midfielder with a brief but notable Midtjylland spell and an ongoing role at Al Ahly.
