Emmanuel Agbadou, born on 17 June 1997 (age 29), is an Ivory Coast central defender with Besiktas. An imposing 6ft 4in (1.92m), he wears the number 12 shirt and remains a regular first-team presence in 2026–2027.
His most productive league season came at Eupen in 2021–2022, when he scored five goals in 33 appearances. That spell showed more than just size and penalty-box usefulness; it established him as a defender capable of handling a full campaign and contributing at the other end.
At Besiktas, Agbadou has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season, including nine in the Süper Lig and further outings in Europa League qualifying and the Europa League proper. His form has been solid and consistent, which is no small thing in a position where fuss usually means something has gone wrong.
He has also remained involved with Ivory Coast, making three World Cup appearances and five in African World Cup qualifying this season, scoring once. His career is still being played out at a good level: a tall, established centre-half, useful for club and country, and still firmly part of the current Besiktas side.
