Ethan Ingram, a fledgling emblem of football fortitude, was born on the 16th of April in 2003 making him currently 22 years old. Shaped by the proud island of England, this disciplined defender has donned Dundee's number 2 jersey with an admirable determination to leave his mark in the Scottish Premiership. Ingram is not the most imposing on the field, standing at 5 feet 10 inches (or for the metrically inclined, 1.8m) tall and weighing in at a solid 11 stone (70kg). Still, he is as sturdy a right back as you would desire to fortify your team's lines.
Analysts over at Transfermarkt have pegged Ingram's present market value in the region of £300k. Although this is but an estimation and the true value invariably rests in the eyes of the one signing the cheque.
Our journey with Ingram begins in the summer haze of July 2015 when he first tasted professional training grounds as a green trainee at West Bromwich Albion, then running the gauntlet in the English Championship.
Fast forward to the autumnal cool of September 2023, Ingram was shipped out from West Bromwich Albion to League Two outfit, Salford City, in a temporary exile on loan.
But at last, in July 2024, the vines of fate intertwined Ingram with our beloved Dundee here in Scotland's Premier League. In his inaugural season 2024-2025, he graced the pitch 24 times in League matches, a promising figure indeed. As we stand in the midst of the 2025-2026 attempt, Ingram has already racked up two league appearances for Dundee, no doubt with many more to follow.
