Fábio Daniel Soares Silva, born on 19 July 2002 (age 24), is a Portuguese striker with Borussia Dortmund. He is still in the earlier part of his senior career, but already has enough miles on the clock to be judged as more than a prospect waiting for a first proper run.
His clearest league output came at Las Palmas in 2024–25, when he scored 10 goals in 24 appearances. That remains the season that gives the best evidence of what he can do when trusted through the middle often enough to build rhythm.
At Dortmund in 2026–27, Silva has started sharply in limited action. He has one Bundesliga appearance and one goal, one DFL-Supercup appearance and one goal, and one Champions League appearance. Across all competitions for the club, that stands at three appearances and two goals.
Silva’s career so far is that of a Portuguese centre-forward moving from promise into the stage where output matters more than profile. The Las Palmas season was his most productive spell; Dortmund is now the next test.
