Federico Bernardeschi, born on 16 February 1994 (age 32), is an Italian right-sided attacker with Bologna, where he wears the number 10 shirt. His current market value is around £3m, according to Transfermarkt.
The early loan spell at Crotone was an important one. In 2013-14 he scored 12 goals in 38 league appearances, still his most productive league season. It was the sort of year that tends to matter more than it looks at the time: regular football, end product, and a bit less comfort than a young attacker usually gets.
Bernardeschi has remained a recognisable Serie A player rather than just a name from an earlier cycle. With Bologna in 2025-26, he has been a regular first-team presence, making 45 appearances in all competitions and scoring 9 goals. That includes 29 Serie A appearances with 4 goals, plus 5 goals in the Europa League.
His career now has a fairly clear shape: an Italian winger whose development was sharpened by Crotone, and who is still contributing meaningful minutes and goals for Bologna. He is not being carried by reputation alone, which is usually a useful distinction.
