Born on the last day of August in the year 2000, Filip Stuparević, now 25, hails from Serbia. He is a driven forward, primarily utilising his skills as a striker at Motherwell. His 6ft frame (1.84m) and weight of around 11st 11lb (75kg) is donned with a number 17 jersey.
As per the current figures from Transfermarkt, Stuparević has an estimated market value of the sum of £255k.
In the mid-year of 2016, Stuparević embarked on his professional football journey with Voždovac in the Serbian First League as a trainee. Over the following three seasons, he showed remarkable improvement. Through the 2016-2017 season, he made nine first team appearances, then moving to appear 30 times in both the 2017-2018 & 2018-2019 seasons, scoring two and eight goals respectively.
His rising talent was recognised by Watford, where he moved for around £2m in January 2019. However, his stint here was short-lived, following which he was loaned off back to Voždovac and then to 1. FK Příbram in the Czech Republic later that year. He rounded off his 2019-2020 season at Příbram with nine first team appearances.
The following year brought another loan transfer, taking him back to the familiar grounds of Voždovac. After this sojourn, in August 2021, a move away from Watford took Stuparević to Metalac Gornji Milanovac. His single season here saw him make 27 first team appearances and score four goals.
From here, Stuparević's career took him on a journey across continents. His next stop was Al-Orooba in the UAE, followed by a move a year later to Domžale in Slovenia. In his lone season at Domžale (2023-2024), he made 23 first team appearances and scored six goals.
In July 2024, Stuparević made his way to the Scottish Premiership to join Motherwell. Although he has yet to make a mark here, a loaned season to Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship saw him net five goals in 16 appearances through the 2024-2025 season. He returned to Motherwell upon completion of his loan in June 2025, where he currently resides in the 2025-2026 season, awaiting his chance to shine.
