Finlay Allan, born on the 17th of June 2006, hails from the verdant lands of Scotland. This 19-year old lad dons the role of a forward in his matches, mostly playing in the position of a right winger, a testament to his versatility and depth. Allan currently plies his trade with Dundee, causing a ruckus in their forward line with his number 40 jersey. Standing at a height of 5ft 8in (1.75m) and tipping the scales at 11st (70kg), Allan might not be the most towering presence on the pitch, but he has continuously shown that agility and skill often triumph over sheer physicality.
Allan's career path has seen him play under various banners but always within Scotland's borders. In July 2022, the then young and eager Allan took his first strides into the professional world, joining Dundee in Scotland's Premiership. Yet, his stint at Dundee was punctuated with loans, serving as a journey to hone and shape his raw skills.
As February 2024 rolled around, Allan found himself on loan to Forfar Athletic in Scotland's League Two, a move from the Premiership that raised many eyebrows. Yet, those familiar with the spirited game knew that such a move could provide the budding player with much needed experience. A few months later in August 2024, Allan had yet another shift, this time to Stenhousemuir in Scotland's League One. A mere month passed before Allan was loaned once again, returning to Forfar Athletic in League Two.
After many a game filled with Allan manoeuvring around the pitch in loans, June 2025 signalled the return of the prodigal son. Allan returned to Dundee in the Premiership, coming full circle after his loan spell. He brought back with him a wealth of experience, enhanced skills and a deeper understanding of the game nurtured in his temporary teams.
