Born on the 17th of June 2006, the Scottish footballer Finlay Allan, currently aged 19, finds himself playing as a forward, primarily in the right winger position for Dundee. Standing at a modest 5 feet 8 inches (1.75m) and weighing 11 stone (70kg), he sports the number 40 jersey on the front lines.
Ever since July 2022, Allan has been part of Dundee FC, a club whose presence is strongly felt in the Scottish Premiership. His tenure, however, has not been without its share of twists and turns. Just a couple of years in, being February 2024, our young winger found himself transferred on loan, moving from the Premiership to find a temporary home with Forfar Athletic, a club playing in Scotland's League Two.
An established pattern, it would seem. As the year progressed, August brought another loan deal for Allan, this time seeing him joining forces with Stenhousemuir in Scotland's League One. Just a month later, in September, another trip back to Forfar Athletic was on the cards, as Allan once again found himself playing in League Two.
These successive loans nevertheless played out their part, and by June 2025, Allan was back where he started, having completed his loan and returned to his roots at Dundee FC, his position in the Scottish Premiership once again secure.
