Fletcher Boyd, born on 26 January 2008 and now the tender age of 17, hails from our very own bonnie Scotland. He's a footballing force in the midfield, and has found his niche playing as a central attacking midfielder for the Aston Villa U21s. Boyd is 5ft 10in (1.8m) tall and weighs in at 12st 3lb (78kg).
He's not yet the most costly player on the circuit, but he's making his mark. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated to be just £270k. A bargain, if you ask me. The lad is currently contracted with the Aston Villa U21s, with 1 year and 5 months remaining. His contract is set to run its course on 31 May 2027.
A bit of history on Boyd's career: in July 2017, he started out as a trainee at Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership. His debut season (2023 - 2024) for Aberdeen saw him make two first team appearances, where he impressively netted two goals in league matches. He made the same number of first team appearances in the 2024 - 2025 season. In the current season of 2025 - 2026, the lad seems to maintain consistency, having made two first team appearances in league matches once again.
Boyd took a big leap in his career in September 2025. He transferred from Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership to Aston Villa in the English Premier League. The value of the transfer was around a £1m - a far cry from his current market value, but something that proved his burgeoning talent and potential in the footballing world.
