Franco Israel, a native of Uruguay, born on 22 April 2000, is now a 25 year-old goalkeeper for Sporting CP. Standing impressively at 6ft 2in (1.9m) and weighing 11st 13lb (76kg), he sports the number 1 jersey on his back. Israel has proudly represented his birth nation, Uruguay, on the international stage. Turning the clock back to August 2018, we find Israel switching Nacional for Juventus. His performances evidently up to snuff, as the following 2024-2025 season saw him grace the Champions League for Sporting CP, making eight starts. The 2025-2026 season will once again see Israel representing Sporting CP in Portugal, continuing his journey in the sport he clearly relishes.
