Fraser Taylor, born in Scotland on the 20th of February, 2003, is a talented young midfielder who presently plies his trade with St Mirren. Though primarily a central attacking midfielder, Taylor is versatile enough to adapt to different roles across the middle of the park. He is of average build, standing at 5ft 8in (1.75m) tall and weighing 10st 9lb (68kg). Donning the number 30 shirt, he has proven himself to be a crucial player for the side.
In July 2020, Taylor made his initial stride in professional football, joining St Mirren as a trainee. Post his loan at Ballymena United, Taylor returned to St Mirren briefly before being loaned out once more, this time to Arbroath in the Scottish Championship, in September 2024. After a beneficial spell there, he returned to St Mirren in June 2025, ready and eager to apply his enhanced skills and mentality at his parent club.
Since his return from loan, Taylor has been involved considerably more often in the first team. His performances have caught the eye in the 2025-2026 League Cup, resulting in him earning two starts and making two substitute appearances for St Mirren. All signs suggest a budding career for Fraser Taylor in Scottish football, and it will be intriguing to see how his career unfolds in the upcoming seasons.
