Born on the 14th of July, 1995 in Scotland, Gary Oliver primarily serves as a striker for Falkirk. He's a sturdy 5ft 10in (1.78m) powerhouse in the striking position, knocking the scales at 11st 4lb (72kg). Currently, he wears the number 18 jersey for the team, but it's worth noting that his contract, with a mere 8 months remaining, is set to expire on the 31st of May, 2025.
His football career first experienced the Premiership lights when he joined Hearts in July of 2013. His debut season, from 2013 to 2014, at Hearts saw Oliver making eight first-team appearances in league matches. His second season wasn't vastly prolific, as he only made nine appearances, scoring a solitary goal. His final season at Hearts, 2015 to 2016, was a less prominent affair as he made just a single first-team appearance in league matches.
In a short twist, Oliver was transferred on loan to Stenhousemuir in the League One in September of 2014, where he made 11 first-team appearances and managed to strike two goals. However, come December of that year, he returned to Hearts upon completion of his loan.
Oliver's career took another turn in September of 2015 when he was transferred to Queen of the South in the League One for an undisclosed fee. His tenure at the club in the 2015 - 2016 season saw him make a notable 28 appearances and score six goals. From the Queen of the South, he executed yet another transfer move to Greenock Morton in the Championship in July 2016. His time there saw several seasons with a respectable number of appearances and goals to his name.
It seems Oliver had a penchant for Queen of the South in League One, as he made another move back to the club in July 2019. His return, though marked with a fair share of appearances and goals, ended with Oliver moving back once again to Greenock Morton a year later in August 2020. He completed two more seasons of respectable appearances and goals at Greenock Morton.
His career saw a change in scenery in July 2022 as he finally moved on from the back-and-forth transfers and transferred from Greenock Morton to Falkirk in the Championship. The period at Falkirk has been met with a fair share of appearances and a decent goal tally, including participation in the League Cup and Scottish Cup for Falkirk.
