George Campbell (born 22 June 2001, age 24) is an American central defender with West Bromwich Albion, where he remains a regular first-team presence in the 2025-26 season.
His most productive league campaign has come at West Brom, with 39 Championship appearances and four goals in 2025-26. Across all competitions for the club that season, he has made 41 appearances, including outings in the FA Cup and League Cup.
Campbell was linked with a move to Celtic in May 2026 while at West Bromwich Albion. His market value is around £1.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
At this stage, Campbell’s career is that of an established Championship defender, still involved week to week and adding a modest goal threat from the back.
