Grant Savoury, born on 7 July 2000 (age 26), is a compact Scottish attacking midfielder now with Greenock Morton. He had an early Celtic connection, joining the club from Edinburgh City in June 2020, before leaving in October 2021 for Peterhead.
That Celtic spell was a staging post rather than the centre of the story. After moving on, Savoury had time with Peterhead and Greenock Morton before his career took clearer shape at Queen's Park, where he became a more established Championship-level player.
His best league season came at Queen's Park in 2022-23, when he scored 10 goals in 35 appearances. Across three seasons there, he made 52 league appearances and scored 10 times, which is the spell that gives his career most of its substance so far.
Savoury is back at Greenock Morton, where in 2026-27 he has made three league appearances, along with three Championship appearances and two in the Scottish Cup. His current market value is around £170,000, according to Transfermarkt.
His career has run from Edinburgh City to Celtic, then through Peterhead, Morton and Queen's Park, with his most productive period coming at Hampden before his current spell at Morton.
