Grant Savoury, born on 7 July 2000 (age 26), is a compact Scottish attacking midfielder with an early Celtic connection and a career shaped far more clearly elsewhere.
He joined Celtic from Edinburgh City in June 2020, but his spell in Glasgow was a staging post rather than the centre of the story. In October 2021 he left for Peterhead, the sort of move that often tells you where a young player’s real senior education is going to happen.
After Peterhead and a spell with Greenock Morton, Savoury found his strongest footing at Queen’s Park. Across three seasons there he made 52 league appearances and scored 10 league goals. His best league campaign came in 2022–23, when he scored 10 times in 35 appearances – a proper contribution rather than a footnote.
He is now with Greenock Morton, where in 2026–27 he has made four league appearances and two Scottish Cup appearances. His market value is around £170,000, according to Transfermarkt.
