Grant Savoury, born on 7 July 2000 (age 25), is a compact Scottish attacking midfielder at 5ft 7in (1.71m), now with Greenock Morton. His early senior path included Edinburgh City before Celtic brought him in during June 2020.
That Celtic spell was brief. Savoury left in October 2021 for Peterhead, and it was only after moving on from Celtic that his career began to take a clearer shape. Peterhead gave him a platform, but Queen’s Park became the club most closely tied to his development as a senior player.
Across three seasons at Queen’s Park, Savoury made 52 league appearances and scored 10 league goals. His best league return came in 2022–23, when he scored 10 times in 35 appearances, a productive campaign that stands out clearly in a career otherwise built more on steady involvement than heavy scoring.
He is now with Greenock Morton, where in 2025–26 he has made 17 appearances in all competitions, including 15 in the Championship and two in the Scottish Cup, without scoring. His market value is around £170,000, according to Transfermarkt.
Savoury’s career has taken him from Edinburgh City to Celtic, then Peterhead, Queen’s Park and Morton. The Celtic connection is part of the early story, but his most substantial football so far has come at Queen’s Park.
