Born on 5th November 1997 in Scotland, the 28-year-old left-back defender, Greg Taylor, currently plies his trade at PAOK in Greece. Standing 5ft 8in (1.73m) tall and tipping the scales at 9st 12lb (63kg), Taylor is also honoured with representing the Scotland national team. He displays his football flair wearing the number 32 jersey.
According to Transfermarkt, Taylor's current market value hovers around £4.3 million.
It was in July 2015 that Taylor was initiated into professional football with Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership. His debut season was a light one with only a solitary first team appearance. However, he embedded more profoundly with the squad in the following seasons, displaying increasing consistency. During his tenure at Kilmarnock, from 2016 to 2019, Taylor represented the team in 108 first team league matches, and also managed to tick his name on the scoresheet once.
A transition in Taylor's career occurred in September 2019 when he moved to Celtic. He spent the 2019-2020 season finding his feet in his new environment, making 12 appearances for the club. As he got more accustomed to Celtic's style of play, his role in the team grew. Over the seasons from 2020 to 2025, Taylor became a regular fixture of the Celtic squad with his number of appearances steadily increasing. In total, he made 156 first team league appearances and scored a total of six goals during his Celtic period.
In July 2025, Taylor embraced another professional shift. Leaving the familiar terrain of Celtic, he embarked on a fresh journey with PAOK in the Greek Super League, where he currently plays. Till now, in the 2025-2026 season, he has made 12 first team appearances in league matches.
The 2025-2026 season has seen Taylor taking the field in the Europa League Qualifiers, making one appearance as a substitute. He has also been part of the main Europa League action making one start and another appearance as a substitute for PAOK.
