Greg Taylor, born 5 November 1997 (age 28), is a Scotland left-back from Greenock whose senior career took shape at Kilmarnock before Celtic moved for him in September 2019.
At Celtic, Taylor became a far more important player than his arrival suggested. Across six seasons he made 156 league appearances and scored six league goals, with his strongest attacking return coming in 2022–23, when he scored three times in 31 league games.
His Celtic spell brought proper substance as well as longevity. Taylor won four Premiership titles, three League Cups and two Scottish Cups, and was also part of sides that finished runners-up in two Scottish Cups and one Premiership. He was rarely the flashiest name in the side, which was rather the point: dependable, fit, positionally alert and useful in the sort of domestic grind that exposes weaker players quickly.
Taylor left Celtic in July 2025 for PAOK, where he wears the number three shirt. In 2025–26 he has made 12 league appearances and 15 in all competitions for the Greek club, including Europa League qualifying and Europa League football.
His market value is around £4.5m, according to Transfermarkt. Kilmarnock gave him his platform and PAOK became his next step, but the main body of his career so far was built at Celtic, where he turned a low-key signing into a long, decorated spell.
