Gue-sung Cho, born on 25 January 1998 (age 28), is a South Korean striker with FC Midtjylland, where he wears the number 10 shirt. His current market value is around £3m, according to Transfermarkt.
Cho’s early senior impact came at FC Anyang, where his 2019 league season remains his most productive: 14 goals in 33 appearances. That sort of return tends to travel well on a CV, even if it says only so much once a player moves into a different league and a different rhythm.
At Midtjylland in 2026-27, he remains involved rather than decorative. He has made 16 appearances across all competitions, scoring three times, with goals in Conference League qualifying and the Europa League. Domestically, he has also featured in the Superliga.
He has continued to be part of the Korea Republic picture too, with World Cup and Asian World Cup qualifying appearances this season, including a goal in qualifying. His career to this point is that of an established international striker who has built from a strong spell in Korea into regular first-team football in Denmark.
