Harry Wood, born on 2 August 2002 (age 23), is an English centre-midfielder whose senior career has been shaped chiefly at Shelbourne. Early loan football formed part of his development, but it is at Tolka Park that his record has taken on real substance.
Shelbourne has given him continuity and responsibility rather than just minutes. Across four league seasons he has made 83 league appearances and scored 19 goals, a useful return from midfield without needing much dressing up.
His best league campaign so far came in 2025, when he scored nine goals in 36 appearances. He has remained a regular first-team presence in 2026, with 20 league appearances and seven goals, and 34 appearances and nine goals in all competitions, including European qualifiers and Conference League matches.
His current market value is around £276,000, according to Transfermarkt. Wood’s career is still a developing one, but its shape is clear enough: early experience elsewhere, then a sustained and productive spell with Shelbourne.
