Hayato Inamura, a native of Japan, was born on 6 May 2002, making him 23 years of age. He is known in the footballing world as a defender, primarily operating in the centre of defence for his current club, FC Tokyo. Standing at 5ft 11in (1.82m) and possessing a stocky build of 11st 4lb (72kg), Inamura offers quite a physical presence on the field.
The value of his talent in the market is estimated to be approximately £250k, as detailed by Transfermarkt.
Inamura embarked on his professional career in February 2024 when he was signed by Albirex Niigata, a club competing in the J1 League in his homeland. Over the course of the 2024 season, Inamura was fielded in 12 first team league matches. His performance evidently improved the following season, with him being featured in 16 games and even netting a goal.
His stint in Japan, however, was to be rather short-lived. In the summer of 2025, a deal was struck that saw Inamura transfer from Albirex Niigata to Celtic, a seasoned team competing in the Scottish Premiership. The fee arranged was around £250,000. He made his first team appearance in the 2025-2026 season, although it would be his sole appearance for the hoop-wearing Glaswegian side.
It appears that Celtic elected to loan out the Japanese defender fairly quickly as, in January 2026, Inamura was transferred on loan to FC Tokyo back in the J1 League in Japan. He's earmarked to turn out for FC Tokyo in the 2026 season.
