Hervé Koffi, born on 16 October 1996 (age 30), is a Burkina Faso international goalkeeper with Union Saint-Gilloise. His senior career first came into wider view at Lille, where he made four league appearances in 2017-2018.
He has since built a steady career rather than a showy one, with his role at Union Saint-Gilloise keeping him involved at a decent level. In 2026-2027, he remains a regular first-team presence, with nine Pro League appearances and three in the Europa League, part of 16 appearances in all competitions for the club.
Koffi has also stayed prominent for Burkina Faso this season, making seven appearances in African World Cup qualifying. His form has been strong and consistent, which matters for a goalkeeper whose value is usually measured less in drama than in reliability.
Now in his early thirties, Koffi’s career has settled into the shape of an established professional: international duty with Burkina Faso, regular club football with Union Saint-Gilloise, and enough European involvement to keep him relevant beyond domestic routines.
