Ivan Bašić (born 30 April 2002, age 24) is a Bosnia and Herzegovina central midfielder with Astana. His current market value is around £1.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
Orenburg has been the main stretch of his senior career so far. Across three seasons there, Bašić made 71 league appearances and scored four league goals, with his most productive league campaign coming in 2022-23, when he scored twice in 15 appearances. That is the spell that gives the clearest measure of him as an established professional rather than just a player passing through squads.
He is now at Astana, where his 2026 league involvement has yet to begin. He has, however, made four appearances in Conference League qualifying and scored twice. He has also been involved with Bosnia-Herzegovina, with one World Cup appearance and seven European World Cup qualifying appearances this season.
