Jamal Musiala, born on 26 February 2003 (age 23), is a Germany international and Bayern Munich’s number 10, used primarily as a central attacking midfielder. His market value is around £119m, according to Transfermarkt, which tells its own story without needing much decoration.
His senior career is overwhelmingly a Bayern Munich story. Across eight seasons he has made 154 league appearances and scored 48 league goals, a strong return for a midfielder who is not simply stationed as a conventional forward. His best league campaign came in 2022–23, when he scored 12 times in 33 appearances.
Musiala remains firmly involved in the 2025–26 Bayern side. He has made 15 Bundesliga appearances with three goals, and six Champions League appearances with two goals, giving him 21 Bayern appearances and five goals across all competitions this season. That is not the profile of a player being eased to the edge of things.
He has also been involved with Germany this season, scoring in his single World Cup appearance. At Bayern, though, is where his career has taken its clearest shape: an attacking midfielder with regular end product, still central to a side with little room for passengers.
