Jan Ziółkowski, born on 5 June 2005 (age 20), is a Polish central defender with Roma. An imposing 6ft 4in (1.94m), he is valued at around £5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His senior career has so far been shaped mainly at Legia Warsaw, where he made 24 league appearances across three seasons and scored one league goal. The 2024-2025 campaign was his fullest there, with 19 league appearances and his only league goal for the club.
Now at Roma, Ziółkowski has remained in the first-team picture in 2025-2026 rather than drifting into the background. He has made 18 Serie A appearances, one Coppa Italia appearance and four in the Europa League, scoring once in Europe. He has also played twice for Poland in World Cup qualifying this season.
It is still an early career, but the outline is clear enough: developed at Legia, moved on to Roma, and currently playing regular senior football for club and country.
