Jeff Chabot, hailing from Germany, born on 12 February 1998, is a sturdy figure on the football field. Now at the age of 28, Chabot plays as a central defender for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga league. With a significant height of 6ft 3in (1.92m) and weighing 14 stone (89kg), Chabot dominates on the ground and in the air. He dons the number 24 jersey.
As of today, his estimated market worth stands around £13m as per Transfermarkt.
The defender's career kickstarted at RB Leipzig II in Germany's Oberliga. In July 2017, he made a move overseas to Sparta Rotterdam in Dutch Eredivisie, making 20 appearances and scoring twice in his debut season.
A year later, July 2018, Chabot switched to FC Groningen, also in the Eredivisie, for a reported fee of around £1.1m. During his stint at Groningen in 2018-2019, he played 28 matches and got one goal to his name.
Following a successful season, he was signed by Sampdoria in Italy's Serie B in July 2019, for an estimated fee of £3.4m. Despite his tenure here, he made limited appearances over two seasons, playing just 19 games and netting one goal. Chabot had a brief loan spell at Spezia also in Serie B, before returning to Sampdoria in June 2021.
Chabot's journey continued moving north in January 2022, joining Cologne in the Bundesliga on a loan deal. Establishing himself firmly at the heart of Cologne's defence, he made a total of 57 appearances over three seasons, convincing the German team to permanently sign him from Sampdoria in July 2023 for £2.2m.
After one more season at Cologne, Chabot transferred to his current team Stuttgart in July 2024 for an approximate fee of £3.4m. To date, he's made 49 appearances and scored three times for Stuttgart, and is a current member of the 2025 - 2026 squad where he's made 18 first team appearances.
Beyond league matches, Chabot has contributed to Stuttgart's campaigns in the DFL-Supercup and Europa League during the 2025 - 2026 season, making one and five starts respectively.
